Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and creativity.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where each child feels valued and respected.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and orderly classroom.
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in preschool education or related fields such as nannying or daycare settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- First aid certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is essential.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to manage behaviors effectively.
- Experience working with toddlers and young children is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth.
