What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Trinity Lutheran Church and Preschool?
We are looking for people that share our Christian Values, enjoy working with children ages 2 to 5 years, enjoy being physically active while working outside, and are willing to learn and support our culture of Godly Citizenship and Loving Christians.
We are hiring 2-3 preschool aides and teachers We are looking for individuals who love the 2 and 3-year-old age group. Our teachers and aides must be comfortable changing diapers and helping children in the bathroom and willing to take direction from the teacher in the classroom and director. The usual classroom size is 11-16 children.

Reports to: Preschool Director & Assistant Director
Works with: Classroom lead teacher and staff
Works: Part-time, approximately 20-29 hours per week with room to grow, and Full-time 40 hours come June
- Applicants MUST have a minimum of 6 ECE units. 12 Early Childhood/Child Development units is preferable.
- The applicant process includes a medical clearance, TB Test, proof of MMR and Tdap vaccinations, and a LiveScan fingerprinting background check.
- Part-time positions will be 20-30 hours to start with room to grow

- Focus on becoming acquainted with each parent and giving special attention to each child.
- Willing to lead class prayers at snack and lunch times.
Teachers should have reliable transportation to work.
Give full attention to the safety, physical and emotional well-being of the children.
- Assure children’s bathroom and diaper needs are met.
- Must be willing to change diapers and help children in the bathroom.
- Daily classroom set up.
- Supervise playground activity
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
