About This Position
We are looking for a Laundry attendant to join us at the Lane County Jail in Eugene, OR.
Available Shift:
Tuesday - Saturday
5-8 hrs shifts from either
8 am - 4 pm or 7 am - 3 pm
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Laundry attendants sort, wash, dry, fold & deliver clothes
- You will be able to physically bend, twist and lift approcimately 25 lbs. to load machines
- You must be able to work co-operatively with others (team attitude) as well as working independently
- Prepares, assists, team members in laundry facility
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager
- Maintaining all laundry equipment and inform facilities manager as to any maintenance needs
- Perform additional laundry services when necessary
- Other duties as determined by the needs of the business
What You'll Need
High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment and tact
