What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compensation and Benefits Analyst position at Trintech?

As a Compensation and Benefits Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the Total Rewards team by offering essential support and administrative assistance to the Total Rewards Manager and the broader HR department. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and dedication to excellence will ensure our compensation and benefits programs are accurate, efficient, and compliant.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and review job descriptions, providing feedback on content.
  • Conduct compensation surveys and benchmarking studies and support the annual compensation review through data analysis and documentation.
  • Assist in designing and administering benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Support open enrollment by preparing materials, organizing meetings, and addressing employee benefit inquiries.
  • Administer leave processes for employees in the United States
  • Assist in maintaining leave policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of benefit deductions, and paid leave adjustments
  • Maintain documentation related to compensation and benefits programs, including policies, procedures, and employee communications.
  • Stay informed about changes in compensation and benefits laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Assist in conducting audits and assessments to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in compensation and benefits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and experience working with HRIS or similar systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation and the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Basic understanding of compensation and benefits principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
