TRIO Pharmacy Services is a closed-door pharmacy where you can focus on fulfilling the pharmaceutical needs of our long-term care and senior living clients. We service long term care and senior living communities. We offer a non-retail pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities Include:
· Triage, interpret and process orders into pharmacy computer system while meeting accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy.
· Ensure orders are processed according to pharmacy cutoff times and within expected delivery windows
· Performs drug calculations including basic mathematical calculations
· Provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers and provide empathetic care.
· May assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
· Performs other tasks as assigned, which can include assisting in any area of the pharmacy as directed by management.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Pharmacy or healthcare related experience, 1 years required
· Basic understanding of brand/generics, medical terminology, and computers required
· Detail oriented; team player, customer focused service, great communication skills, and a positive attitude.
· Ability to form professional relationships with customers
· Iowa Pharmacy Technician License required.
