How you'll contribute:
The Plant Operations Coordinator processes all repair request, creates work orders, distributes monthly PM/PE work orders, maintains the TMS system, department records, policies, files and log books. Works with department director for Life Safety compliance and tracking Reports to: Director of Plant Operations and Director of Environmental Services. This is a shared support position
Additional responsibilities include:
Coordination of duties for Plant Operations department to include work orders, policies, Joint Commission manuals/documents, typing, filing and computer program updates.
Ensures that utility and structural service and repairs takes place as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
Assists as needed in as well as inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.
Coordinates the moving of items within/between locations and from/to storage.
Coordinates maintenance equipment repairs, obtains estimates, processes invoices.
Works in conjunction with director to maintain Life Safety requirements, tracking, scheduling activities, rounds, fire drills and supporting documentation. Nonessential Functions
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements:
Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent Required
Two years of college Preferred Required
Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
