What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at Triple C Housing?

Triple C is a well-founded, grass-roots organization that has helped to make the dream of living independently with dignity become a reality for those they serve throughout Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean counties. We are in growth mode and are looking for like-minded individuals who have a passion for people and want to contribute to our mission. To fulfill that goal, we are currently looking for a seasoned payroll specialist with experience in accounting operations who is adept in ADP workforce and payroll administrative functions. Our ideal candidate is one who always acts with integrity and understands discretion as it relates to the needs of the business.

Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Prepare and process biweekly payroll, accurately and timely. Serve as back up to fiscal department.
  • Maintenance of personnel files and Personnel Action Forms (ACT).
  • Oversee and monitor hours, benefit time usage.
  • Manage the time and attendance tracking system including – Holidays, Sick Time, Inclement Weather LOA’s and accrual banks
  • Manage Benefits Enrollment,
  • COBRA
  • Handle pension and savings plan administration
  • Workman's Compensation Claims
  • HRIS and payroll reporting
  • Check professional and motor vehicle licenses

Requirements for successful candidates:

  • 5-7 years of prior work in domestic payroll
  • Experienced with payroll compliance and reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to various standards relative to confidentiality information
  • Experienced with ADP workforce or other ADP Payroll modules preferred

Job Type: Exempt (Part Time) 25 hrs/week (or 50 hours (about 2 days) every 2 weeks) at least 2 hours every day – in office at least 4 days week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.40 - $28.18 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • North Brunswick, NJ 08902: Relocate before starting work (Required)
