Position Summary:
Were looking for an experienced and results-driven OEM Sales Representative to identify, develop, and grow relationships with companies that need custom cart and storage solutions integrated into their own branded offerings. This role is perfect for someone who understands the value of long-term partnerships, can speak the language of engineers and product managers, and thrives on solving complex problems with elegant solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new OEM sales opportunities within medical, scientific, and industrial sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner companies
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, design, and production) to develop customized OEM solutions
- Present proposals, negotiate terms, and manage contracts through the full sales cycle
- Attend industry trade shows and represent TrippNTs OEM capabilities
- Track sales activity and provide regular reporting to leadership
Qualifications:
- 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in OEM, manufacturing, or industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of product development and customization workflows
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality and solution-oriented approach
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Core Selling Competencies:
Solution / value-based selling - Uses discovery questions before quoting; can map ROI to the customers P&L.
Project management - Has run projects with engineering, ops, and sourcing; comfortable with Gantt/critical path.
Key-account farming - Grew a single OEM account $1M over 3 yrs; can show YOY wallet share increases.
Negotiation & contracting - Familiar with MSAs, blanket POs, rebate structures, tooling amortization.
CRM & data discipline - Uses HubSpot
