Job Summary And Qualifications
The Assistant Controller is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department. This role effectively performs the leadership, managerial, performance improvement and departmental responsibilities.

Job Summary And Qualifications
The Assistant Controller is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department. This role effectively performs the leadership, managerial, performance improvement and departmental responsibilities.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3 years of experience in healthcare accounting preferred
- Must be knowledgeable in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the use of personal computers
- Manage general ledger activities
- Perform month-end closing activities
- Prepare month-end account reconciliations
- Maintain statistical database
- Assist with hospital budgeting process
- Evaluate and modify internal control processes to ensure the adequacy thereof
- Assist with all other daily activities of the Accounting Department and performing special projects as directed by the CFO and Controller.
