What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN IPC Clinic position at TriState Health?
Job Summary:
Ensures that quality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the Washington State Nurse Practice Act, Tri- State Hospital and departmental nursing standards. Utilizing the nursing process, functions primarily in direct patient care and coordinating that care.
Education and Training:
- Associate’s degree or Bachelors in healthcare administration or equivalent college coursework preferred.
Licensures/ Certifications:
- Current Washington State RN license; Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period.
Experience:
- Two - five years of acute care experience
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent phone etiquette, strong interpersonal skills. Computer skills, including electronic medical records systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use skills in nursing assessment to include peri-operative education and care.
- Recognizing post anesthesia and post-operative complications.
- Promotes positive teamwork with departmental staff, surgeons, physicians, anesthesia, and all departmental personnel.
- Participates in maintaining a safe patient care environment. Effective leadership skills and preceptor participation.
