Security Officer

Primary Purpose and Function:

Provide uniformed security services at our commercial facility, while providing exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Remain alert and vigilant at all times
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Respond quickly and correctly to security incidents
• Observe and report
• Calling for assistance
• Checking and monitoring client's facilities
• Maintain electronic logs per company policy
• Enforce parking control procedures

Knowledge and skills:

• Ability to demonstrate strong customer service tendencies
• Ability to demonstrate strong authority and leadership skills
• Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
• Proven oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail is a must
• Reliable transportation
• High School Diploma or GED
• California Guard Card issued by BSIS
• Capacity to learn and retain multiple evolving forms of advanced technology-based applications.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged sitting and/or standing and walking
• Ability to climb stairs
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme cold and/or heat
• Ability to work all shifts and weekends/holidays'

• Seeking dependable and reliable vehicle patrol officers for night shift positions. Patrol officers must possess good communication, writing and leadership skills. Must be able to maintain a neat appearance at all times, be punctual to work, able to interact with the public and provide information in a friendly and courteous manner. Officers must have a California BSIS issued Guard Card. Officer will be subject to DMV and Background checks. Must possess a valid California Class C Drivers License.

Pay Frequency:

• Weekly

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
