What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Beverage Cart position at Troon?
Server/Beverage Cart Attendant provides our golf course guests with food and beverage service on the Golf Course and in the clubhouse. We are looking for a dedicated individual who will work to provide our guests with friendly efficient service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Stocking and Inventory of Beverage Cart/Clubhouse
- Responds to Guests questions and inquiries.
- Provides great customer service
- Follows all liquor laws that apply
- Has general beverage service skills
- Must be able to work outdoors, possess a valid Drivers License.
- Weekend and Holiday availability a must
- Must be a team player in a busy and fun environment.
- Safely drive the golf course and maintain frequent and friendly sales and service opportunities with guests.
- Employ upselling and cross-selling strategies while informing guests about upcoming events and specials.
- Ensure the proper storage of all items from equipment to beverages and perishable foods.
- Knowledge of Golf Course Etiquette
- Maintain beverage cart in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Complete assigned side-work and prep-work.
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Provide prompt and efficient customer service
- Display knowledge of the F&B menu
- Takes guests food and/or drink orders and turns into kitchen, bar, etc
- Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
- Adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
- Checks back to ensure guest(s) satisfaction; replenishes items as necessary and/or requested
- Suggests and serves dessert, coffee and other items as applicable and/or necessary
- Handles all cash and/or credit cards for payment following all standard operating procedures
- Keeps tables, dining room and work station(s) sanitized and organized
- Listen and respond to customer complaints
- Performs clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by manager
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
