This position requires basic medical screening techniques and administering injections, vaccinations, and some minor surgery. Since this job is often the first point of contact for our patients, we're looking for a responsible, personable and friendly individual who enjoys interacting with people. We're also looking for a medical assistant who can communicate effectively, as they will be in charge of scheduling appointments, drafting medical histories and writing up doctors' notes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patients with routine medical services.
- Perform a variety of medical tasks on the health care team's behalf.
- Communicate with physician and other health care staff about patient's progress and treatment.
- Collaborate with health care team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Administrative duties include answering phones, filing information, scheduling appointments, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
