At Tropical Smoothie Cafe, we strive to inspire a healthier lifestyle by serving amazing food and smoothies with a bit of tropical fun! Our Crew Members are key to fulfilling this promise. We provide an upbeat, fast-paced work environment with no greasy fryers! We are immediately hiring for MORNING & EVENING shifts at our Wexford, PA location. Previous restaurant experience preferred but not necessary, we will train you to become efficient in all areas of the cafe. Must have reliable transportation. Must have ability to stand on feet for duration of shift. Must be able to lift 25 pounds for standard duties such as refilling ice, restocking, lifting food boxes, trash removal, etc. Must be able to effectively communicate with staff and customers, as well as being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Wages start at $12 /hour tips! based on experience. Duties include:
-Taking customer orders using point-of-sale system
-Preparing food and smoothies
-Prepping food, ability to follow recipes and accurately measure ingredients
-Stocking, refilling ice, maintaining cleanliness of work space
-Excellent ability to communicate and follow instructions
-Ability to maintain personal hygiene and uniform requirements (t-shirt, hat, name badge)
