What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Tax Associate position at Trove?
Position:
We are seeking an exceptional individual to serve as a Senior Tax Associate within Trove Tax Division. The Senior Tax Associate is a key member of each of our client teams. The role requires solid bookkeeping/accounting skills along with strong communication skills needed to interact directly with clients and their other advisors. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into multiple roles within the firm.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Tax Associate will work with the other members of the client teams to ensure the following tasks are completed:
- Preparation of complex tax returns for individuals and companies
- Such as 1099s, payroll, and sales tax
- Prepare financial data reports; coordinate and participate in financial analysis, planning and auditing
- Analyze and determine best tax strategies
- Perform risk analysis

Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate for the position must be willing to learn new concepts and ideas. They must be a hard worker and be comfortable sharing unique ideas and concepts.
- The ideal experience will include:
- 2 years of experience in financial or tax analysis
- MBA or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, ore related/equivalent field
- Passed all 4 sections of CPA exam
Position Reports to: Managing Partner of Trove's Tax and Advisory division
