What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Troy University?
The Project Coordinator position for the Deep South Leadership and Environmental Action Program (LEAP) will be responsible for coordinating communication and general activities between Troy University faculty, undergraduate mentors, local high school science teachers, and their students. The Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting in the development of core environmental Science curriculum facilitated by undergraduate mentors to high school juniors and assisting in the administration of data collection, record keeping, and evaluation tools as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Strong knowledge of high school science curricula
3. Familiarity with environmental science principles

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in education and/or science
2. Experience working with high school students in an informal setting
3. Experience organizing and executing community projects
