Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

We are currently seeking to hire a Nurse Practitioner that can provide care for Women's health (Gynecology, STD's, women's well visits)

Support team includes - receptionists, medical assistants, call center, health coaches, lab, providers on site, specialty on site.Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform history and physical examinations and pap smears as needed.
• Document visits in electronic medical record in a timely manner
• Educate patients on their health conditions in a way they can understand.
• Follow up with patients more frequently for effective condition management.
• Utilize your support team to complete standing orders
• Order diagnostic tests based on assessments, develop treatment plans, prescribe drugs and other therapies as needed
• Make referrals as necessary, consulting with supervising medical provider when appropriate.
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Participate in meetings
• Work collaboratively with other members of the medical team
• Collaborate with the management team on quality improvement initiatives
• Have an open mind to feedback, different perspectives, reflection, and growth.

Qualifications:

• eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
• Must have completed an accredited NP program and be registered by the NYS Department of Education.
• 2 years or more practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Experience working with a diverse and under-served patient population a plus
• Proven ability to work in a team environment

• practicing as a nurse practitioner: 2 years (Required)
• eClinicalWorks: 1 year (Preferred)
• EMR: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• RN (Required)
• NYS license / Certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner? (Required)

Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
