Here at Trucordia, we are seeking another Internal Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functionality of critical business applications that power our insurance operations. This role ensures systems run smoothly by providing responsive technical support, resolving issues efficiently, and partnering with teams across the organization to maintain reliable, high-performing tools that enable our continued growth and service excellence.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for business and insurance applications, troubleshooting issues, documenting incidents, and escalating complex problems as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement organization-wide solutions and ensure successful onboarding of new agencies.
- Perform routine administrative tasks, fulfill user requests, and manage large-scale data entry projects using internal tools and third-party resources.
- Ensure data integrity by following established standard operating procedures and enforcing best practices related to data accuracy and software usage.
- Create and maintain user documentation, including FAQs, process guides, and training materials tailored to insurance workflows.
- Assist with the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of insurance-related software applications.
- Interface with software vendors and third-party providers to resolve technical issues and manage escalations.
- Generate reports and extract relevant data from business systems in response to stakeholder requests and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience in IT and application support will be considered.
- 2–4 years of experience in application support, ideally within the insurance industry or a related operational environment.
- Hands-on experience with insurance-specific software applications and workflows, including deployment, configuration, and end-user support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, particularly in the context of business-critical insurance systems.
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in generating user documentation, FAQs, and process guides that align with business operations and compliance needs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while delivering timely support and solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with software implementation best practices, including version control, configuration, and stakeholder communication.
