The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for driving overall data visualization solutions utilizing Power B/I that fulfill business requirements. Partnering with Clients, functional business analysts, and other team members, this individual will work through the entire development life cycle in accordance with organizational standards & business objectives/goals.
Responsibilities:
- Drives the analytic needs of the business by working with key business stakeholders to develop well defined reporting requests that drive business value
- Works collaboratively with Data Analysts and Application Developers to publish, maintain, and support BI applications according to established standards
- Translates business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from multiple data sources
- Develops and manage reports/dashboards and semantic layer for key stakeholders
- Coordinates and facilitate business stakeholder engagement and user acceptance testing for business intelligence initiatives
- Provides technical assistance and cross training to other team members
- Works with BI Team to design and deliver ongoing training program for internal Clients/end users
- Works with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues while meeting and/or exceeding SLAs
- Researches new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks as the business and technology industry continue to evolve
- Provides regular status reporting to the Executive Partner - Enterprise Technology
- Performs other duties as needed or required

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence and/or Analytics or relevant work experience
- Expert level experience with Microsoft BI platforms required (Power BI)
- Experience with Microsoft data solutions required (SQL Server, Analysis Server – on premise and/or cloud)

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
- Associate needs to occasionally move about the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
