What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Facilitator - Outpatient SUD position at True North Detox, LLC?
First Steps Recovery is the premier full-continuum substance use disorder treatment program in the Central Valley. We are always searching for talented and dedicated individuals to join our incredible team. The Outpatient SUD Group Facilitator is the primary provider for group programming (educational, topic-process, CBT/DBT, relapse-prevention, etc.). Primary responsibilities include developing and providing clinical programming in a group setting, efficiently and effectively documenting group process and clinical response and supporting the rest of the clinical team with general outpatient operations.
Individuals with experience working with Veterans and/or First Responder demographics will be prioritized.
Essential Functions:
* Prepare and provide clinical programming utilizing evidence-based curriculum in a group setting
* Prepare clinical documentation accurately and within agency time frames.
* Intervene during crisis intervention situations.
* Participate in weekly Clinical Treatment team meetings with other team members as needed.
* Provide appropriate treatment interventions relative to the specific needs of each resident.
* Adhere to code of ethics, legal aspects of clinical practice, professional standards, duty to warn, abuse and neglect reporting policies and procedures, and exercise professionalism at all times.
* Exercise awareness in cultural competency, resident satisfaction, quality of services, resident needs, and overall health and safety staff and residents.
Competencies:
* Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, supervisors, utilization review, managed health care clinicians, medical and mental health professionals.
* Ability to positively interact and develop rapport with clients and their families.
