Our Afterschool program is growing, and we’re looking for the right person to add to our growing team!
Position Details:
Average shift is Monday through Friday, September through May 3pm-7pm each day
The Afterschool Team Member supports and leads school-aged students during structured time blocks in our After-School program. Supervise and guide students in activities, snacks and leadership-focused interactions with peers and team members. Be responsible for the safety and well-being of students during program hours. Communicate effectively with students, internal team members and members of the community regarding key aspects of our After-School program.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must love working with school-aged kids!
- Must enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, while also being able to work independently and utilize critical thinking to solve problems and make decisions!
- Has an outgoing, positive demeanor and looks forward to challenges and changes!
- Is 18 years or older.
- Has a minimum of 1-year experience supervising and interacting with school-aged children in a professional setting.
- Is able to effectively read, write and communicate verbally in English.
- Will successfully pass state and nation-wide background checks run by a certified third-party.
- Is able to safely lift up to 20 lbs.
- Is able to repeatedly move quickly from a seated to standing position, walk throughout a 5,000 sq foot facility as-needed throughout a shift, bend at the waist as-needed for certain activities and maintain a standing position as-needed throughout a shift.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
