What You'll Do as the Paver Operator:
- Operate paving equipment safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Perform regular equipment checks and maintain proper fluid levels
- Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure seamless operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazards or accidents immediately
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Travel regionally with the crew, occasionally requiring overnight stays
You'll Succeed as the Paver Operator if you Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the construction industry (preferred)
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
- Ability to read and understand safety data sheets (SDS)
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and maneuver in various weather conditions
- Capability to lift and manipulate objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and equipment
