What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wealth Strategist III position at Truist?
Responsible for utilizing complex financial planning techniques across the Elements of Wealth to deliver advanced estate and financial planning advice to clients typically with $10MM in assets under management at Truist driving positive client outcomes, contribute to impact revenue, and enhance client retention. Leverages and sources internal and external resources and centers of influence (COIs) to provide subject matter expertise to clients and prospects. Completes complex diagnostic review of financial and estate planning documents, along with client objectives and priorities, leading to delivery of a comprehensive analysis and solution presentation. Success is measured against the ability to positively impact clients, the Truist Wealth organization and Truist overall through the effective delivery of complex estate and financial planning analysis and targeted, actionable advice. Essential functions include: maintaining expertise across Elements of Wealth, empowering clients to make financial decisions, leading comprehensive HNW wealth planning and strategy, executing financial planning and advice process, adhering to internal policies and regulatory guidelines, maintaining proficiency in planning software, integrating advice and planning processes, engaging in group and regional meetings, coaching and developing teammates, managing workflow and communication, networking with internal and external partners, serving as a subject matter expert and thought leader, pursuing professional development, and traveling primarily within assigned region. Required qualifications include complex technical knowledge in financial planning areas, ability to motivate client action, bachelor's degree, professional financial industry experience, advanced communication and technical skills, relevant advanced certifications, and leadership abilities. Preferred qualifications include ten years of experience in financial planning and wealth management and experience advising HNW clients.
