Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. As an Assembly Technician assembles precision aerospace, medical and commercial components, ranging in complexity, per drawings, specifications, and work instructions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision and efficiency. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. If you have experience in a warehouse or factory setting and are proficient with power tools and hand tools, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, sketches, product specifications or work instructions.
  • Perform insert installation, riveting, bushing installation, part marking, masking, packaging, or other tasks assigned by Assembly Lead.
  • Apply sealants, epoxies, or primers to secure fasteners.
  • Operate lasers to apply part marks.
  • Accurately track your time and product completion quantities.
  • Inspect complete parts by utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to ensure quality standards are met and record inspection data as required by the work instructions.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Comply, encourage, and support all safety rules and regulations.
  • Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs are dictated.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: The successful individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are also desirable:

  • Ability to meet target times on repeat production work.
  • Understanding or ability to read engineered drawings.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write work instructions.
  • Proficient with MRP / ERP Systems.
  • Effective communications skills.
  • Knowledge of various inspection equipment.
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
