Summary
Supports the quality team in standard food safety processes to ensure compliance, and works with production staff to ensure inspection and testing procedures are maintained.
Responsibilities
· Works independently to inspect finished products, raw materials, supplies, equipment for adherence to quality specifications.
· Conduct line checks and perform testing as needed, performs weight and label verification. Work with quality team to monitor corrective action activities.
· Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and adherence to all food safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in quality environment required
- Knowledge of food safety in manufacturing facility a plus
- Must have good communication skills, basic math and computer skills required.
- Must have valid driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
