Position summary (General Purpose): Shipping Dock Associate handles finished goods from storage to loading for customer shipment, separating good from hold racks, coordinating storage of racks by part/customer/lot.
Qualifications (Basic Knowledge, skills, and abilities):
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work overtime
Ability to read, understand and apply work instructions
Primary Position responsibilities:
Unloading of customer trailers & put away in storage area
Staging & Loading of customer shipment based on customer vanning layout
Separate completed vs hold racks to ensure hold racks are not shipped to the customer
Put away/storage of finished goods based on customer and lot #
Communicate rack shortages to Team Leader
Identify & tag damaged racks to prevent use in production or getting to the customer
Assist/support in Injection Tooling inventory, pulls, & put away
Target no production downtime due to failure to supply racks to the production line timely
Communicate any safety or equipment issues/concerns to Team Leader
Maintain department 5S requirements
Secondary Position responsibilities:
Ability to cover the Jigcon forklift line support Associate if needed
Ability to cover the Switch Assembly forklift line support Associate if needed
Ability to learn and assist Scanning Associate if needed
Essential Job Requirements:
Forklift license
Nonessential skills and experience
Ability to work overtime
Reporting to this position: No direct reports

Work environment: Open trailers, docks, and forklift activities.
