GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER - HVAC
SUMMARY
The General Maintenance Worker in the HVAC Shop performs a variety of duties involving the general maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and general upkeep of structures and equipment using practical skills and knowledge in a variety of trades. Some HVAC experience required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- General preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment.
- Employees are required to drive company vehicles on a Federal Installation.
- All other duties as assigned by supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a minimum of four years’ related experience in a variety of trades.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school degree required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers and staff members.
