About Us: The TSI Cares Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization seeking to fundamentally change how youth with varying abilities and mental health diagnoses receive care while in the foster care system and not they transition out of foster care and into adulthood. Our mission is to ensure that youth in the foster care have quality care, safe and secure housing, access to lifelong support services, and a long-term plan to secure their well-being, long after leaving Foster Care.
Open Position: The role of the Residential Coach is to provide home, school, and community-based behavioral, therapeutic, and emotional support services to clients, ages 12-17 years of age who are enrolled in the Female Group Home Program. Functions of this position includes: Provide supportive environment for youth, Provide daily security and up-keep of home, As directed, participate in the implementation and monitoring of client case plans, Participate in various in-service training sessions, Attend staff meetings, as directed, Assist with supervision of youth during activities, Effectively manages behavior and supervision of youth during activities, Assign and supervise chores, Prepare meals as needed, Oversee youth self-administering all medication, the implementation of a plan of care to address issues in communication, behavior, emotional regulation, executive functioning, daily hygiene, and more. This position requires a person to be comfortable working both one and one and leading groups on a variety of topics. Multidisciplinary training is provided to encourage mastery as a Residential Coach. Continuous advancement within the company is strongly encouraged.

Available Schedules:
7pm-7am (Monday-Sunday)
Ideal Candidates:
Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check and be a positive role model.
Independent thinker and problem solver who enjoys doing something different each day.
Must have experience working with children and adolescents (special needs/foster care populations preferred). Experience can include paid employment, volunteer, internships, etc.
Energetic personality.
Qualities we are looking for: creative, helpful, energetic, calm-demeanor in intense situations, ability to de-escalate situations.
