We’re partnering with a growing Oil & Gas company in Midland, TX seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support continued growth. This is a permanent, hybrid opportunity with strong visibility and long-term advancement potential.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee full-cycle accounting including journal entries, GL, accruals, and reconciliations
- Lead the month-end close process
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Manage QuickBooks accounting operations
- Supervise and mentor up to 5 direct reports
- Partner with operations and leadership on financial support and reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7 years of accounting experience
- Oil & Gas experience preferred
- QuickBooks experience required
- Strong month-end close and full-cycle accounting background
- Prior leadership experience or readiness to step into a management role
- CPA preferred, not required
