Key elements of work will include:
- Represent TTL before existing and potential clients
- Manage project scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for a variety of projects
- Provide engineering expertise and develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Review and direct the work of others
- Document the design process and communications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Four to six (or more) years of experience in engineering services with progressive responsibilities in project delivery for commercial, residential, and general land development engineering
- Tennessee PE license, or the ability to obtain one within six months
- Experience in use of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
- Effective communication skills
Desired qualifications:
- Strong technical, proposal writing, communication, and public presentation skills
- Ability to articulate ideas and concepts
- Engaged in the professional engineering community
- Self-initiative, a sense of urgency, and a strong desire to work as a team to grow a small office
- Willingness and ability to mentor less-experienced engineers and support staff.
