DEPARTMENT: Grounds Maintenance
JOB SUMMARY: Provide grounds maintenance of all Tribal Government entities. Maintain flowerbeds; water, weed, rake, and fertilize trees and shrubs. Clear gutters of debris and empty trash receptacles around tribal grounds and dispose of properly. Operate riding and walk behind mowers, blowers, power trimmers, chainsaws, and other power tools necessary to maintain the tribal ground.
COMPENSATION: $17.09 hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. *will allow six (6) months from start date to obtain.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Six (6) months commercial grounds maintenance experience using commercial mowers, equipment and tools as wells as maintaining commercial equipment and tools.
- Three (3) months experience working with chemicals and/or pesticides used for landscaping.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- WA state Driver's License and must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations. (Abstract Required)
- Must complete an agility exam to determine if physically capable of performing the job
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
