- Job Summary
Tulsa Community College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors for the 2023-2024 school year and welcomes applicants at any time. Adjunct instructors are hired within their respective fields for one or more semesters based on the needs of their respective academic school.
A teaching assignment may or may not be available as of this date. Potential adjunct faculty will be contacted as teaching assignments become available.
Salary based on course contract.- Minimum Qualifications
University Parallel:
- Master's degree in the discipline or subfield in which an individual is teaching, or
- Master's degree and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline or subfield in which an individual is teaching.
Developmental Education:
- Appropriate credentials for faculty teaching in developmental education areas are determined by discipline
Technical/Occupational (Workforce Development):
- The same as those listed for university parallel, or
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, appropriate state and/or national licensure or certification in the discipline or subfield in which he or she is teaching, and three years of work experience in the field.
Philosophy:
- Compatible with that of a comprehensive urban community college.
Some departments or programs have additional and/or alternative qualifications determined by faculty and/or an accrediting agency.
