Job Summary
Tulsa Community College is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygiene Clinical Instructor to support student learning and patient care during assigned clinic session(s). This role is responsible for chairside supervision, evaluation, and mentorship of dental hygiene students in a clinical education environment. The Clinical Instructor ensures safe, high-quality patient care while fostering student competence, confidence, and professional growth in alignment with TCC’s mission of building success through education.
Clinical Instructors work collaboratively with Supervising Dentists and Course Professors to evaluate clinical performance, authorize and assess clinical procedures, provide real-time instruction and remediation, and uphold all clinical, infection control, and documentation standards. This position requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to student-centered teaching within a fast-paced educational clinic setting.
This is a Safety Sensitive position pursuant to Oklahoma Statute

Minimum Qualifications
- Current unrestricted Oklahoma dental hygiene license with administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide advanced procedures.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Proficient use of electronic dental software.
- Effective verbal, nonverbal, written, and electronic communication skills; time management; and organization with multi-tasking.
