What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Life Program Coordinator position at Tulsa Community College?
- Job Summary
Develop, implement, and coordinate the assigned Student Life programs and activities. Support the goals and objectives for Student Success and Engagement through daily operations and consistent college wide practices.
- Minimum Qualifications
3 years experience in student services, student life, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and/or experience in student government, student organizations, and coordination of workshops, seminars, and small group activities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Ability to travel between TCC campuses.
Ability to work on a team.
Ability to move tables and chairs, haul food boxes, stand on feet for long periods of time during events, and withstand weather such as cold, wind or rain during events.
Ability to acquire food handler's permit.
- Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in student development, liberal arts fields, recreation, or event planning. Degree requirement may be substituted with equivalent work experience.
Experience in working with all populations in a community college setting.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Experience with Flyer creation software.
