Essential Job Functions:
- Provide individualized academic instruction to students which support their completion of their educational program and successful post-school activity.
- Implement and enforce student discipline in accordance with school policies and participate in parent/student/sending school conferences as needed to support student retention and program completion.
- Continuously monitor student achievement indicators and collaborate with department administration, success center counselors, and sending school counselors, as appropriate, to effect maximum student retention and course completion.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Education
Job Requirements:
- OSDE Certified Secondary English; Secondary Social Studies preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching in a public/private school setting.
- CPR and First Aid training are preferred.
Shift:
Varies. Hours are September - May from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm; June – July 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
Salary Schedule:
Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees
Hiring Range:
$35 per hour
