Tunista Operations Support Services LLC Temporary PRIMARY FUNCTION Responsible for keeping buildings and offices in a clean and orderly condition. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Works to ensure offices, conference rooms, facilities, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for general cleaning and maintenance duties which may include vacuuming, dusting, item washing, trash collecting and proper sorting. Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: General knowledge in use and maintenance of janitorial equipment. Basic computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Ability to enter data accurately into databases. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Must be trustworthy Effective oral and written communication skills to communicate information effectively and clearly to others. Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, etc. Ability to follow instructions Customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up. Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems. Ability to multi-task. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred Minimum of two years’ work experience in a janitorial role preferred Must be able to obtain and keep a government security clearance Must pass drug and background screening PREFERENCE STATEMENT Preference will be given to Calista shareholders and their descendants and to spouses of Calista shareholders, and to shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, in accordance with Title 43 U.S. Code 1626(g).
