Food and Beverage Supervisor
Turf Hotels, Inc. is currently looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at our Homewood Suites Albany. As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll be responsible for assisting in overseeing and directing the daily operation of the Food & Beverage operation and protection of the asset.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance and breakdown of the breakfast bar line; prepare specified food items at the breakfast bar, replenishing food and assist in serving food from the breakfast bar line to the guests, if needed.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members.
- Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting coach and counseling and performance evaluations with guidance from the AGM and GM.
- Responsible for the setup of the managers reception that takes place every Wednesday.
- Assists with ordering and maintaining relationships with vendors.
- Review Banquet Event Orders to ensure proper ordering and preparation for conferences and meetings.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
- Monitor and assess product quality, service and guest satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
- Compliance of brand and quality assurance standards.
- Assist in conducting food and beverage inventories monthly.
- Develop weekly staff work schedule with GM approval.
- Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
- Performs any other duties as requested by general manager.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED certificate is required.
- At least two years of food and beverage experience is preferred
- Prior guest service experience in hospitality environment is preferred
- Ability to interpret and perform intermediate computer functions.
- Must be proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.
Salary : $33,500 - $42,400
