Pest Control Technician - Sarasota

Residential Pest Control Technician:

The ideal candidate must be dependable, ethical, and have a desire to succeed. This position requires you to be well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated. Providing excellent customer service with a friendly and positive attitude is a must!

Duties include:

• Provide timely and effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to new service clientele.

• Time management to arrive on scheduled service times of daily appointments.

• Install and establishment SMART equipment at initial appointment.

• Maintain a daily schedule of 6-8 new customer appointments.

• Calculate basic math problems

• Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers

• Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents

• Provide customers with general information about our various services

• Conduct service calls as needed

• Problem solving and/or complaint resolution

• Drive a company vehicle

• Long periods of walking, up to 7 miles per day, at times with a (up to) 40 lb pack on your back

• At times, may have to enter/work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics

• Be able to withstand long periods of squatting, standing and walking

• Be able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs

• Have excellent listening and communication skills

• Be competent with the use of new technology

• Be organized and able to manage their own daily route

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Pest control experience

• Customer service experience

• Experience working outdoors

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Relationship building skills

• Problem solving skills

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type:
This is a full-time position. Some Saturdays may be required.

Travel:
Local daily travel within the assigned territory.
