In-home Math Tutor

What You’ll Do:

• Teach math concepts from basic numeracy through pre-algebra
  

• Adapt explanations and examples to different learning styles (visual, hands-on, tech-aided, etc.)
  

• Build rapport quickly; create a supportive, low-pressure learning environment
  

• Support students with ADHD, math anxiety, or advanced/gifted needs
  

• Communicate progress and next-step goals to parents after each session (24-hour report rule)
  

Requirements

Must-Haves

• 2 years tutoring or teaching math to K–8 students
  

• Proven ability to make math engaging and understandable (please share examples)
  

• Friendly, patient, and able to connect with a wide range of personalities
  

• Reliable transportation to homes throughout Marin County
  

• Clear, professional communication with students, parents, and team
