FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

WFLD/WPWR is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our dynamic sales assistant team. This role not only offers a chance to contribute to our success but also serves as a fantastic opportunity for learning and growth within the TV station, setting the stage for a rewarding career in the industry.

Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be a driving force behind the scenes, supporting our sales team across a myriad of functions, ranging from detailed linear and digital order management to station projects and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meticulously handle data entry for broadcast and digital orders.
• Organize, file, and ensure the accuracy and fulfillment of sales processes.
• Interface regularly with Sales, Accounting and Traffic departments.

Requirements:

• A college degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint coupled with strong clerical abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for stellar service to clients and account executives.
• Broadcast sales assistant experience is an advantage.
