TWG Global is hiring a Cybersecurity Leader to own and build our security and compliance function. This is a highly impactful role, responsible for establishing and scaling our approach to cybersecurity, governance, and IT compliance. You'll develop and implement security policies, drive audit readiness, monitor infrastructure and system logs, and partner across departments to reduce risk.
This role will be hands-on and tactical, with the opportunity to grow a team over time. Please note that this position is based on-site at our Santa Monica, CA office.

Compensation
The base pay for this position is $150,000-$200,000. A discretionary bonus will be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

What you'll do:
- Own the design and execution of TWG's cybersecurity strategy
- Develop security governance frameworks and IT compliance programs
- Establish and enforce policies aligned to SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other standards
- Partner with IT and Engineering on secure access controls and endpoint protection
- Implement and manage log monitoring, alerting, and SIEM tools
- Oversee internal and external audits, vendor risk reviews, and incident response
- Monitor system and application logs and configure alerts
- Build foundational security operations tools and processes
- 8 years of experience in cybersecurity and compliance
- Experience with GRC frameworks and audit preparation
- Strong understanding of cloud security and monitoring tools
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, endpoint detection, and identity management
- Ability to balance strategic planning with technical execution
- Experience building programs from scratch or being a first cybersec hire
- Experience managing or mentoring team members is a plus
