As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Demand Planner to join our team.

Position Overview: As the Demand Planner at TCK Sports, you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory levels and ensuring product availability to meet customer demand by balancing international and domestic manufacturing supply chains. You will be responsible for forecasting purchasing decisions, manufacturing planning, replenishment forecasting, sales forecasting, and other inventory forecasting activities. This role offers visibility into the business as a whole, working closely with cross-functional teams including sales, production, and supply chain. You will leverage these relationships to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support business objectives and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, sales inputs, and other relevant factors.
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts for domestic manufacturing activities, including production schedules, capacity utilization, and resource allocation, to ensure optimal inventory levels and on-time delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to gather information and insights that contribute to demand forecasting accuracy.
  • Analyze demand patterns and identify potential risks and opportunities to optimize inventory levels and improve product availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and track inventory turnover ratios to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Generate purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of inventory based on demand forecasts.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes and methodologies to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and analysis on demand forecasting performance, inventory metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in demand planning and inventory management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or relevant experience. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in demand planning, inventory forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in the apparel or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with forecasting tools is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
