Seeking an Full-Time Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant. Evening and Saturday availability required. No Sundays. Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician/Assistant is required.
Location: Loveland, Evans, or both.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assisting Veterinarians in exam rooms & surgery preparation
- Monitoring anesthesia
- Caring for patients compassionately
- Educating clients
- Collecting and preparing samples for laboratory tests including, fecal, urinalysis, blood work, cytology, etc.
- Preforming dental cleanings & radiographs
- Maintaining a neat & clean work environment
- Assisting the front desk in answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in & out, receiving payment, etc.
Ideal Candidates will:
- Have solid venipuncture and catheter placement skills
- Have experience performing dental cleanings under anesthesia
- Have sufficient experience performing digital & dental radiographs
- Have experience monitoring anesthetized patients
- Be comfortable restraining & handling pets
- Have great oral & written communication skills
- Have the ability to multi task effectively
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment and independently

No certification is required, however, previous experience as a Veterinary Technician/Assistant is preferred.
Previous experience with DaySmart management software beneficial.
Pay for this position depends on skill level and experience.

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
