Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with skill and creativity, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking drink orders accurately while providing knowledgeable recommendations on drinks, food pairings, and specials.
- Manage multiple orders seamlessly using POS systems such as Dinerware POS or RMH POS, ensuring quick turnaround times to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, following strict food safety and food handling protocols to ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity.
- Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and enforce responsible serving policies in compliance with legal regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquet services to ensure timely delivery of drinks alongside food service.
- Uphold all health and safety standards related to food safety, beverage handling, and overall cleanliness to meet industry regulations.
- Contribute to a vibrant atmosphere by participating in nightclub or event settings, enhancing guest engagement through energetic interaction.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fast-paced environments such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or catering events.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Dinerware POS and RMH POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures within the food industry.
- Demonstrated ability in time management to handle multiple drink orders while maintaining quality service standards.
- Experience working with diverse beverage menus including brewing techniques for craft beers or specialty cocktails.
- Previous banquet or catering experience is highly desirable for managing large groups efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in retail math calculations like basic math for cash handling or retail transactions.
