Are you an Occupational Therapist looking to join a great team of professionals? Join our team in Frederick, MD at Frederick Health Hospital. This is a Full Time, Occupational Therapist position. Weekend requirement of one weekend day per month. Holiday requirement of one major and one minor holiday per year.
The details:
This is a large team win a fast paced hospital environment which clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses with a common mix of orthopedics, neurological, behavioral health, and critical care caseloads. Occupational Therapists with at least one (1) year hospital acute experience are encouraged to apply. We will also consider new physical therapy graduates with strong acute clinical rotations. The responsibilities:
- Deliver quality, outcomes-driven occupational therapy services
- Document progress toward identified objections
- Conduct patient and family education
- Display strong skills in flexibility, time management, and communication
- Create a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication
The Requirements:
- Degree from a CAOTE accredited school
- Current state licensure or eligibility in Occupational Therapy in Maryland
- Prefer one (1) year clinical experience required
- Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
