What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School English Teacher position at TYBURN ACADEMY?
Tyburn Academy, a Private Independent Catholic School located in Auburn, New York is looking to hire a qualified High School English teacher for the 2023-24 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for English classes in grades 7/8, 10, and/or 11. This candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of Tyburn Academy.
Qualifications:
- Required: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in English or related .
- Must provide a resume, 3 references, and a cover letter.
- Excellent classroom management skills or willingness to learn.
- Excellent pedagogical skills able to differentiate instruction or the willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Google Drive is a plus.
- Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission, teachings, and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church is must.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
