Summary

We are seeking a Marketing Creative Director to lead our marketing team in driving brand strategy, storytelling, and creative execution. This role will be responsible for elevating brand identity, digital presence, and consumer engagement across all channels.

Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Brand Leadership : Define and execute the creative vision for the brand, ensuring consistency and alignment with our position as a leader in competitive athletic performance.
  • Marketing Strategy : Develop and implement marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, product demand, and athlete engagement across digital, retail, and event channels.
  • Creative Direction : Oversee the development of high-impact creative assets, including digital content, video, photography, social media, and advertising, to inspire and engage our audience.
  • Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team, including designers, content creators, and social media, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Athlete & Influencer Marketing : Build and maintain relationships with professional athletes, brand ambassadors, and influencers to enhance brand credibility and reach.
  • Product Storytelling : Partner with product development teams to craft compelling product narratives that highlight innovation, performance, and athlete-driven design.
  • Content & Social Media Strategy : Lead the development of content strategies that engage and grow our community of elite athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and brand advocates.
  • Event & Sponsorship Activation : Oversee creative execution for brand-sponsored events, competitions, and athlete-driven activations to maximize visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Data-Driven Decisions : Utilize analytics and market insights to optimize marketing strategies and campaign performance.
  • Budget Management : Involved in the creation of annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets. Oversee and manage the creative department’s budget.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Proven success in leading marketing teams and executing impactful brand campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of competitive sports culture, particularly swimming and CrossFit.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and social media engagement.
  • Experience collaborating with professional athletes and influencers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong design sensibility and experience working with creative teams (graphic designers, photographers, videographers).
  • Adobe Acrobat (Editing / Managing PDF Documents), Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • 10 years of experience in creative marketing, branding, or content strategy, preferably in performance athletic apparel and footwear.
