Job Details: Days/Hours will be: Mon-Fri 3:00 - 11:pm. Some Saturdays. On call every 5 weeks. May be asked to cover other shifts when needed. SUMMARY: Occupational health nursing is the specialty practice that delivers health and safety programs and services to workers and worker populations. The practice focuses on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work-related and environmental hazards. This position will conduct medical history and physical assessments; adhere to the highest standard of confidentiality; and assist with team member education related to communicable diseases. This position may involve additional occupational health nurse duties as assigned by manager. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required. Experience: Prefer 1 years’ experience in a nursing field. Clinical hours can be acceptable for graduate nurses. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system. Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills. Physical Requirements: Physical requirements include walking through the plant to ensure team member and supervisor compliance with prescribed modified restricted duty requirements. Assessing a Team Member in a swift manner and performing CPR if needed.
