What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Technician Level II position at Tyto Athene?
Tyto is looking for a Desktop Support Level II to join our team at Warner Robins in GA. This is a complex, multi-year contract supporting the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware.
- Performs configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripherals
- May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
- Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
- Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
- Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise.
Requirements:
- Experience as a desktop support technician or equivalent (IT Support, Helpdesk Support, Support Technician, etc.)
- Experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity.
- Capabilities needed to deliver in-person and remote IT aid.
- Fantastic installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities.
- Strong customer support and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience working with ServiceNow and Print Release
- Active IAT Level II Certification / Active "Security Plus" certification is required
- On site support at Warner Robins in GA.
