U-Haul is looking for an individual to perform minor body sheet-metal repairs, fiberglass repair, and repainting of body parts and interiors of U-Haul trucks and trailers. This position will involve the use of primers, enamels, wood finishing and fiberglass finishing materials. The individual will prepare surfaces by sanding, painting with primers and applying final paints. Primary Responsibilities: Repairing or replacing auto-body/van-body components This includes but is not limited to: Bondo repair, dent pulling, fiberglass reinforced plywood (FRP) repair, bolt-on part replacement, decal installation, etc. Repair equipment using appropriate tools to conform to U-Haul standards. Restoring equipment to U-Haul quality Critical thinking ability Effectively follow work-order directions. Perform work in a timely manner. Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
